Our brother Martin has been running the Platzlalm since 2008, together with his wife Eva and their daughter Maria, bringing plenty of warmth, hospitality and a good dose of Tyrolean humour.
There is always something happening at the Platzlalm. In summer, its beautiful mountain setting makes it a wonderful wedding venue, while in winter it is the perfect place to stop for a well-deserved break on the slopes.
The Platzlalm is located at 1,790 metres above sea level, right in the heart of the Hochzillertal ski area and, in summer, directly on the Zillertal High Road. Whether you stop by for a break while skiing in winter or after a bike ride or hike in summer, the Platzlalm welcomes you with warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere.
Located directly on slope no. 4, the Platzlalm is the perfect place to stop for a break. Relax on the sun terrace or inside by the fireplace, enjoy homemade dishes and take in the views across the Zillertal. The perfect pause between runs.
In summer, you’ll find the Platzlalm directly on the Zillertal High Road, which starts right in front of the Platzlhof and is perfect for a scenic excursion. Whether you arrive by car, hiking bus, bike or on foot, the Platzlalm rewards you with peace and quiet at 1,790 metres above sea level and refreshingly cool mountain air.
