Its idyllic location in the Zillertal gives you direct access to mountain hikes, ski areas and the beautiful Tyrolean countryside.
Arrival by car
Take the A12 Inntal motorway to the Zillertal exit, then follow the B169 to Ried im Zillertal. At the traffic lights, turn right and follow the road uphill until you reach the Platzlhof.
Parking is available directly in front of the hotel. For electric cars, we have two charging stations; the electricity used is charged separately at reception.
Arrival by train
If you are travelling to the Platzlhof by train, take an ÖBB or Deutsche Bahn service to Jenbach, the nearest mainline railway station. From there, you can continue your journey on the traditional Zillertal Railway, which departs from Jenbach every 30 minutes. Alternatively, we can pick you up from Jenbach station for an additional fee. Pick-up from Ried im Zillertal station is free of charge.
Arrival by plane
Innsbruck Airport is only around 50 km from the Platzlhof. We are happy to pick you up from the airport by prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
Munich Airport is around 170 km away. We are happy to assist you in finding a suitable transfer service or choosing the right train connection.
