The Platzlhof is located in the heart of Zillertal, so several ski areas are within easy reach. Our home mountain, the Hochzillertal ski area, is only 2 km away, and the ski bus stops right outside the door. The other ski areas in the valley aren't far either, and with the Zillertal Superskipass, which you can buy at our front desk, all of them are open to you.
In Zillertal, winter hiking is just as much a part of winter as skiing. Many trails start at the top of the gondola, others right in the valley around Ried. We've put together our favorite winter hikes for you.
